SUNRISE PARK

Hiding in plain sight in the center of Palm Springs, Sunrise Park was built in 1975 and is the largest campus of public buildings by prominent Palm Springs architects. I created this vision initiative to add signage and a sense of place to the park. The proposal also includes a citywide celebration in 2025 to mark the 50th anniversary and draw attention to the need for increased investment in this neglected city asset that provides a wealth of recreational activities for all residents.
